REPORTS AND DATA EXCHANGE
D-CALC®
FACADE provides a wide range of reports on material requirements
and optimized cutting reports. All production reports and
customer documents are user definable. This includes
specifying the content of the document, standard notes, page
headers and footers, margins, fonts and font sizes, line
spacing, totaling and sub-totaling fields, etc. as well as
including your company logo. Data can also be accessed
through third-party reporting tools, such as Crystal Reports as well as Microsoft®
Access or other spreadsheets, and databases.

Reports can be generated one at a time or in report groups
or batches with no additional
prompting. D-CALC®
FACADE
reports can support graphics of the product elevations as
well as the profiles allowing you to generate reports such
as cutting lists showing an image of the profile to be
cut.
D-CALC®
FACADE supports batching of jobs for reports and optimization. Therefore, several
jobs can be consolidated together, optimized and fabrication reports, cut
lists and labels produced. The program will maintain the job number, job
name, item number and other specific information to ensure that the shop can
easily stage the proper material for the individual projects.
In addition, because
of D-CALC®
FACADE'S file format, all data within the program can be easily
exchanged with other applications making the program an
ideal configurator solution to existing MRP/ERP solutions,
project management programs, spreadsheets and data bases
or other applications where you need to share data.
Customers have created elaborate
custom in-house solutions by use of our open data structure to meet their
very specific and demanding needs. Because of the programs open and
published format, these applications and links can be written either in
house, by local consultants or by D-CALC®
America.
D-CALC®
FACADE also has a
Active-X plug-in SEG control (native
D-CALC® drawing format) which allows the end user to insert any
drawing from D-CALC®
FACADE directly
into their Microsoft®
Word or other Microsoft®
application. D-CALC®
FACADE
can also share all or part of its database with other
software by using Open Database Connectivity (ODBC).
