D-CALC®
VERANDA 2000 is the design and imaging component of the D-CALC®
VERANDA
suite of software from D-CALC America that allows field
salesmen to quickly design and if desired, render a proposed sunroom,
patio or pool enclosure on a photo of the clients’ home on a laptop
computer. D-CALC®
VERANDA 2000 works
with a true model of the sunroom that the salesperson and the client create, not a
scanned image pasted on the clients home. The user has libraries of
images for different types of bricks and stone for knee walls, a vast
array of different floor coverings, a library of different roof panels
and roofing materials and finishes for the glass and metal. The D-CALC®
VERANDA 2000
library of shapes and in fills is a generic library, allowing any
company to utilize the program right out of the box. The base package
does not include any pricing structure but costing can be incorporated
as well as a specific manufacturers profiles, doors and windows to
provide a customized version specific to a particular manufacturer.
Design of enclosures:
D-CALC® VERANDA 2000 provides a basic library of over 100 different wire frame
models of sunrooms, patio and pool enclosures. These wire frame models
can be configured with doors,
windows, knee walls and profiles to meet a client’s particular need
and saved as a default
model for recall at any time. You have the ability to change the
properties of the model
including dimensions, profiles, finish, glass, etc. to suit the
clients’ needs.
Library of profiles, windows
and doors:
D-CALC® VERANDA 2000 contains a library of generic profiles, windows, doors and
glazing as well as wide selection of images for various types of
walls, floors, roof panels and tile roofs which are used to create a
final configured sunroom.
Construction of the models:
D-CALC® VERANDA 2000
allows the user to create new designs on the fly to meet a
clients’ particular request. The newly created design can be saved
within the library and recalled at any time to be used within another
sales call. When recalled, any property of the design can be changed.
Generation of a
photo-realistic view of the proposed enclosure:
At any time, the salesmen can generate a realistic view of the
proposed enclosure. The view will display all of the properties of the
proposed enclosure. In addition, if the salesman inserts flooring,
knee walls or tile roofs, the image will display a realistic image of
those items that they selected from the library contained within
D-CALC®
VERANDA 2000 .
Software for fabricators and
manufacturers:
In addition to D-CALC®
VERANDA 2000 ,
D-CALC provides two additional levels of the D-CALC®
VERANDA
product:
- The ability to work with a
manufacture’s specific library of profiles.
- A detailed bill of materials
including profiles, glass, hardware and accessories for fabrication.
- Optimization of the profiles
and generation of extrusion cut lists for the shop.
- Ability to link to CNC
equipment for automated manufacturing.
- Full CAD capabilities
including cross sectional cuts for a complete detailed set of shop
drawings.
- Comprehensive material
requirements with report customization and custom report generation.
- Ability to integrate into existing MRP/ERP and accounting
systems and much more.
