DESIGNING WITH D-CALC^®

D-CALC^® FACADE  is a powerful CAD Based tool, which allows your estimators or engineering staff to create new designs, build elevations, and get detailed graphical information on a product, whether it is a simple window, a complex curtain wall or a 3D skylight, with just a few clicks of the mouse.

D-CALC^® FACADE  produces detailed technical drawings for all parts of a design in any scale desired! In addition to dimensioning the overall size of a design, D-CALC^® FACADE  can also display and print dimensions from other reference points such as daylight opening, sash size, glass size, and handle or hinge location. You decide!

Amazingly, detailed cross-sectional drawings appear instantly with only three clicks of the mouse! And, if you like, D-CALC^® FACADE  displays them, complete with dimensions, installation requirements, and even wall conditions.

Change the size of your window or door with only a few simple clicks. The detailed cross-sectional drawings will change automatically along with the accompanying bill of materials and costing.

D-CALC^® FACADE  allows your staff to produce, in only a few seconds, all required documentation to satisfy the needs of the most demanding architect, including 3D images in VRML format.

At any time you can select to view a complete bill of materials on an item or entire project and even format the bill of materials as a block that can be inserted directly onto the drawing. An excellent tool for the fabrication shop.

D-CALC^® FACADE's  way of constructing windows and doors is exactly the same as in a real production environment, making the software easy to understand and extremely user friendly.

Any drawing can be exported into DXF or DWG format, making D-CALC completely compatible with any stand-alone CAD program! D-CALC can also import DXF or DWG files making it easy to import key floor plans, special wall conditions or any other desired drawing.

D-CALC^® FACADE  allows users to pre-define standard elements (frames, sashes, mullions, glazing, etc.) of windows, doors, storefronts, curtain walls, or skylights. It also allows the user to pre-define these elements' configurations, such as hardware and accessories, with options and option groups.

All designs can be saved and stored in a library for future use. And, they can be retrieved and modified at any time for specific projects.

D-CALC^® FACADE  also is a stand alone CAD program, therefore, AutoCAD^® or other CAD programs are not required. The program contains all of the typical drawing functions required to allow the end user to draw lines, arcs, polylines, rectangles, and more as well as edit tools to copy, stretch, trim,  dimensioning, creating and inserting blocks, automatically adding surrounding conditions and much more are available.
